So you wanna try out for AVP?
Cool! We did too. Here's what you need to do:
1. Pick a song: Choose a song, any song, that shows us what you have to offer AVP.
2. SIGN UP! Well, you don't really need to sign up, but it makes it easier on you and us. Just go to the location above and put your name down on a time slot when you are free.
3. Show up! If you come late or early, we'll just stick you in the next available spot (come early).
4. Sing! In the audition room we will do some warm ups to get you ready for your solo. We'll also ask you to perform some exercises for a musical evaluation, and then it will be time for your solo. Remember to breathe... and smile.
5. Call backs! Keep the next two days after both audition dates somewhat free because if you make it past the first audition we will call you back to hang out and for all of our members to hear you. If you happen to audition for more than one group, just let us know and we'll take care of everything.
Tips: When you pick a song... go with something you are comfortable singing. Testing your limits is good but you want to be sure you can reach them at the audition. Practicing is usually a good idea. We do a lot of that. Rrrrrrrrrrock!
